I can't say that I initially felt intimidated. However the readings definitely have reinforced the necessity of current technology applications in education, have presented new ways of thinking about big concepts, like programming as literacy, and have stressed the importance of remaining in a learning continuum when it comes to technology.
Due to that nature of my job, I have already been educated on many aspects of technology. However, not as in depth as this course explores and so far it has been great to be able to get a better grasp on how to use these practices that we have read about in the classroom.
I have to admit that I came of age as the internet came of age. I may always feel a little bit behind, but I discovered email my freshman year when thats all there was. Netscape was developed while I was in college, so the small steps the web took to build itself happened concurrently as my peers and I were getting comfortable with the technology. I think that if I had never "logged on" before today, the wealth of information and crap out there would overwhelm me.
I use the internet so much I'm not intimidated by it, but someone new to the world wide web, may certainly be. The only downfall I see is reading on the screen is strenuating on the eyes. But easy enough to fix, you can print it!

Yes I do. It's not that bad to have an online course.

I feel that i have always been computer and internet savvy, but some of the terminology has definitely become clear to me now.

I haven't felt intimidated..yet the online experience has been interesting so far.
I definiatly feel more confident in the abilities I already had but didnt know. Ive also been having alot more fun on line making wikis and what not.

Lately, all of the Web interfaces have become so user friendly, that it is easy and enjoyable to post info on the Internet. Very few worries!
